Watersolutions AG has received the 2013 Water Technology Idol Distinction Award from Global Water Intelligence for its Low Temperature Distillation (LTD) system.
The Award was presented at this year's Global Water Summit (22-23 April 2013) in Seville, Spain.
Watersolutions AG has received the H20 Award for Best Water Project for the LTD plant in El Gouna, Egypt.
The Award was presented in Dubai, on 21 November.
Watersolution’s WS LTD technology is particularly suitable for the production of fresh water using solar energy. In this way, a significant contribution can be made to the provision of a clean, efficient and sustainable supply of water.
Together with solar energy waste heat from industrial plants and thermal power plants can also be used for water production. The use of waste heat also opens up the possibility of trading with CO2 certificates.
