Matthew Barker of Frost & Sullivan assumes that the increasing worldwide water scarcity and the sinking prices of seawater desalination plants will lead to a situation where desalination-based drinking water supply for cities, industries and other consumers will literally explode. The following figure can therefore be considered as being a conservative estimate of total installed capacity by 2025.

Our market share should total 3% of new plants sold. This means that, in its 5th year and given a total market volume of approximately 2.5 million m3/d, plants with a capacity of 70,000 m3/d would be built by our company. This corresponds to a gross sales volume of approximately 27 million USD.
